Semantic search is search driven by meaning. The journal about AI, video, and the future.
We’re Imaginario AI, a startup building a new kind of agentic video search and curation platform for creative teams.
We think we’re entering a golden age of content creation, driven by a mix of AI and human storytelling. Over the next decade, millions of creators and small teams will produce work at a scale that used to require a studio, with AI agents doing the heavy lifting. The software will change too, moving from point-and-click screens toward tools you can talk to or simply hand a brief.
That’s why Wide Lens exists. It’s where we write about the things we care about: AI in video production, the future of content marketing, the craft of storytelling, and plenty in between.
AI is one of the most transformational technologies any of us will work with, but we differ from a lot of AI companies in one important way. We don’t think it replaces human creativity or expertise. Taste in content production is subjective and needs context, so people stay in the driver’s seat.
Our growing team has worked in robotics, autonomous vehicles, streaming, TV, film, and education. In all of those places we saw first-hand what happens when creativity and technology work together instead of against each other. Before long, all of us will be creative directors and producers with AI companions alongside.
We hope you enjoy what you find here, and we’d love to hear from you. If you want a sense of what we’re building, take the product for a spin and see what it’s like to search and transform your video the way you’d search text.
