Sony Ci, or Ci Media Cloud, is Sony’s cloud platform for managing media and collaborating on it. It gives teams a place to store, organise, review, and share footage online, combining media asset management with the sharing and approval features that production and post workflows need. It is used across broadcast, film, and corporate media by teams that want their assets and their collaboration in one cloud service.
Sony Ci works with Imaginario in both directions. Connect Sony Ci and Imaginario indexes the folders or buckets you choose where they live, pulling lightweight proxies so your originals never move. Search that footage by what is said and shown on screen, then send finished clips and metadata back to Sony Ci.
