Integrate Google Cloud Storage with Imaginario
Google Cloud Storage is the object storage service within Google Cloud, Google’s enterprise cloud platform. It holds files in buckets that scale on demand, with the durability and access controls expected of a major cloud provider. Media organisations use it to store and archive large volumes of footage and to feed cloud-based processing, particularly where the rest of their infrastructure already runs on Google Cloud.
Google Cloud Storage works with Imaginario in both directions. Connect Google Cloud Storage and Imaginario indexes the folders or buckets you choose where they live, pulling lightweight proxies so your originals never move. Search that footage by what is said and shown on screen, then send finished clips and metadata back to Google Cloud Storage.
Use cases
Connect with credentials or bucket details and index selectively; pull 1080p/4 Mbps proxies; search by speech and on-screen content; send clips and timecoded metadata back to Google Cloud Storage or to your MAM or DAM
Do I need to move my media out of Google Cloud Storage?
No. Imaginario indexes your media in place and pushes clips back to Google Cloud Storage, so your content stays where it lives.
